Property crimes were the most prevalent crimes in the county, as 99 cases were reported. Other crimes include 63 larceny-thefts, 24 burglary crimes, 23 violent crimes, 19 aggravated assault crimes, three rape crimes, 12 motor vehicle thefts, one arson crimes, and one murder/ nonnegligent manslaughter crime. How do I Visit an Inmate in Sweetwater County Jail?

Visitors are allowed to visit inmates six times a week for a maximum of 15 minutes per visit at no charge. The visiting hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 am, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 pm, and from 9:00 p.m. to 9:30 pm. Not more than two visitors are allowed to visit at a time.
